This is a very remote place and seems otherworldly. Lovely photos cannot describe the feeling you feel there.To finish our thrill-filled journey from Mekele we have been driving to Lalibela to meet the monolithic churches carved from the rock almost 1000 years ago, and we have been able to attend a religious ceremony in which you feel like going back in history 1000 years. This ambitious 15-day trip, changing places every night, has been excellent thanks to the quality of the accommodations (in Danakil you sleep two days on mats seeing the stars) and all the drivers who have been very professional and friendly, plus the local guides have made the trip safe and instructive.We have travelled in many countries in Africa and have done many safaris with other tour operators, but A One has proven to be of an excellent standard.

Amazing 3 day Omo Valley trip We took a 3 day tour in the Omo Valley with a friend of mine and it was AMAZING. One of the best trips I’ve been in my whole life. First of all I have to say Michael’s service was the best, from the very beginning of our conversations. Making sure we had the best understanding of the tribes we would visit and their locations. All selected guides were fantastic! Our driver, Jemal, was the best! Very safe driving and sharp with the timetable.
