During our two-night stay, we experienced excellent accommodations and explored the fantastic historical routes on the islands of Lake Tana. The ancient rock-hewn churches of Lalibela were our next destination, showcasing breathtaking ancient civilizations and remarkable architectural skills. In Lalibela, we had the option of engaging in additional activities around the rock-hewn church area. However, we opted to maximize our time in Axum, exploring the famous ancient obelisks. Following this historical journey, we returned to Addis Ababa. Our tour guide also organized a cultural tour to South Ethiopia, revealing the diverse attractions the country has to offer. In the Omo Valley, we witnessed amazing cultures and visited three national parks. The lodges we stayed in were not only gorgeous but also equipped with full facilities, and the local people's welcoming cultures added to the experience.
